Current Status

As some of you know, Pat has suffered from a brain aneurysm, that has left in her critical condition.

In the early morning of 4/27 she awoke with a severe pain in her head and had difficulty walking. She gathered my nephew Dorian and drove herself to Anne Arundel Medical Center, where she received a CT Scan revealing the aneurysm.

Because of the severity of the condition, she was then sent to University of Maryland Medical Center, who have neurology specialists on staff. Most of the day was spent trying to get her stable enough to receive an operation to plug the aneurysm.

After observation, it was discovered that the aneurysm was complicated, which resulted in a lot of bleeding. The doctors performed a procedure to attempt to coil the main section of the aneurysm, which was completed about 10:30 pm last night. The doctors were pleased with the outcome and she was upgraded - slightly - from critical condition.

However, late this morning, I received a phone call stating that the other portion of the aneurysm begin to bleed again and they needed to attempt another surgery.

My family is currently in route to the hospital and will have further updates for you, later this morning.

Continue to keep Pat in your prayers.. God is faithful!!!
